So, this is the current most frequently asked question that I would like to somehow help you and all other future DITO Telecom users.
DITO Telecommunity 51566 (aka DITO) cell signal now transmitted, DITO SIM cards will soon be available.
What is DITO Telecom Network Code?
51566 is the DITO Telecom's what we know as its network code. You can check this too at cellmapper.net or simply see the image below;
- Mobile Country Code = 515
- Mobile Network Code = 66
- MNC+MCC = 51566
Light green indicates best signal quality, dark green good quality, black average quality and red the weakest signal quality.
You can only use this as a reference if you want to know if does DITO Telecom is already active in your location.
But there is another step that you can actually do to know whether DITO Telecom already have Signal in your place.
How To Check DITO Telecom Signal Is Available In Your Location Using Your Smartphone
Actually this is very easy to do. By just manually searching for an open mobile network near you. The result will determine the current networks listed available for you.
Cell Network Search is a location based service that sends your location information, and the tower ids of the network towers within range of (and thus detected by) your phone.
iOS users:
These are the steps that you need to do in order for you to check if DITO network is available.
- Open Settings
- tap on Cellular
- under cellular tap on Network Selection
- Automatic option turn it off.
Settings > Cellular > Network Selection > Automatic turn Off. A list of networks will appear.
NOTE: This steps is for checking purpose only. After you finish, you can now turn it back Automatic On.

Android users:
This for me is a bit difficult to locate you as it depends on the smartphone brand you are using.
Just like for example with this test maid by a contributor from Makati. He is a POCO F1 user.
- Open Settings
- tap on SIM cards & mobile networks
- Select SIM 1 or 2 to view
- Mobile networks option
- Automatic option turn it off.
Settings > SIM cards & mobile networks > SIM 1 or 2 > Mobile networks > Automatic turn Off. Once you turn it off, it will auto search, then a list of networks will appear.
NOTE: This steps is for checking purpose only. After you finish, you can now turn it back Automatic On.

As you can see, all the test made above didn't detect any DITO Telecom signal. So sad right?
DITO Telecom started their 30-day audit last Thursday, January 7, 2021, of its connectivity and internet speeds in various areas here in the Philippines. They already started and getting ready for their commercial launch this coming March 2021.
