List of DITO Telecom Compatible Smartphones

Greetings DITO Users!

March 8, 2021: DITO Telecom is officially launched initially started in VisMin (Visayas and Mindanao). DITO Telecom also mentioned that they will also rollout their other offers and products such as postpaid plans, data variants products, and services soon.

You need a device that is compatible to use the SIM Card.

Recently DITO provided us the list of smartphones that works with it. But the question is, why only Android and how about iOS?

Keep on reading and maybe you will find a way to try if you already have a DITO SIM Card.

DITO SIM cards are available on its partner stores and also online using the sign-up QR code which can be found on their official website. 

If a SIM card got purchased online, the shipping is free and it will take approximately three to five days to reach the customer’s doorsteps.

In order to use the DITO Sim Card, make sure that your location already have DITO Signal. You can check here about DITO's current Network Coverage.

As per DITO, they will be adding more phones to this list very soon. Their service is compatible with select VoLTE mobile devices.

How About Xiaomi Smartphones?

For those of you who asked me about Xiaomi, well I have a list here for you.

I saw it on a FB post at Xiaomi by Tekphon.

According to them, DITO sims will Only work on 4G and 5G phones.

• 4G is Data for Internet.
• VoLTE for Voice Calls.

So they run a test and have the list below:

To ACTIVATE VoLTE Dial *#*#86583#*#*

Then, manually by following this steps to set up APN:

1. Just Insert the sim
2. Go to Settings>Sim Setttings>Click Dito> Create Apn
3. Name: Dito Internet
4. Apn: Internet
5. And Save

For iOS Users Wanted to Use DITO SIM Card

Currently, DITO SIM card as of this rollout is for Android but it doesn't mean that you cannot use it on your iOS.

Yes, can actually use the SIM Card with your iPhone.

     NOTE: This only works to a Factory Unlocked units.

Just simply change to DITO APN: internet.dito.ph

View and edit your APN settings

If you enter incorrect APN settings, you might lose cellular-data connectivity and receive additional charges. Don't edit the APN unless directed by your carrier or mobile device administrator. Contact your carrier to verify the correct APN settings.

If your carrier allows it, you can view your APN settings in one of the following locations:

• Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network> Cellular Data (change ANP and username to DITO APN) Leave password as blank.

• Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Cellular Network (here you can select VoLTE)

Reset your APN settings

To revert to your carrier's default APN information, go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network > Reset Settings.

Using Voice Over LTE (VoLTE)

VoLTE uses the LTE network to make higher quality voice calls. The phone you are calling also needs to work with VoLTE

1. From the home screen, tap Settings
2. Tap Cellular
3. Tap Cellular Data Options
4. Tap Voice & Data
5. Make sure LTE, VoLTE On is selected
