Hi, it's me Ricky your Iloilo Tour Guide, let's step into one of the enchanting tourist spot in Iloilo City, the Molo Mansion. I believe you already heard it from a friend or saw it on an FB post or on YouTube that Vlog about it.

I already take most of my guests in this place and all of them were really amazed about the beauty of this mansion.

From Iloilo International Airport to Molo Mansion, is total of 19.7 km, about 34 minutes of travel.

This mansion is an extraordinary historical residence in the Philippines, also known as the Yusay-Consing Mansion. 

With its awe-inspiring architecture, featuring majestic ceilings, graceful Neoclassical balustrades, and intricate carvings, this mansion stands as a testament to the country's rich heritage. 

Nestled across from the lively town plaza and St. Anne Parish Church in the vibrant Molo district, it was originally the cherished abode of Doña Petra Lacson and Estanislao Yusay, a revered judge. 

Together, they raised a loving family of ten children, leaving behind a legacy that echoes through time.

Following their departure, the esteemed Timoteo Consing Sr., a former governor of Iloilo, found solace within the mansion's storied walls. Over the years, it welcomed distinguished guests, including two Philippine Presidents, Manuel L. Quezon and Sergio Osmena, who graced its premises during official visits to Iloilo. 

Despite facing neglect in later years, a private company (SM Group) breathed new life into the mansion after acquiring it from the Consing family in 2014. 

Since its meticulous restoration, the mansion has been transformed into a captivating heritage museum, inviting visitors to delve into its captivating history and savor local delights at the adjacent souvenir shop and food stalls inside the place.

KULTURA - a one-stop shop for all kinds of Filipino goodies.
Pancit Molo - is one of the popular Ilonggo dishes in this place. It is a pork dumpling soup using wonton wrappers.

KURUKAPE - have a savor and delightful cup of coffee.

To experience the mansion's allure at its finest, plan your visit during the dry season, from December to May. 

This time of year offers breathtaking views of the mansion's exterior and impeccably manicured gardens, creating an unforgettable experience. 

What time does the Molo mansion will open?

The mansion warmly opens its doors to visitors every day from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, allowing ample time to immerse yourself in its historical grandeur.

What does Molo mansion is perfect for?

The place is perfect for debut pictorials, reception or prenups where I spotted many times as I visit the mansion with my tourist guest. 

But I don't think that it is perfect for the wedding as it was near the road.
